Troubleshooting Registration Problems

Registering for a camp through CampSorted is usually quick and smooth, but sometimes things don’t go as planned. If you run into issues, here’s how to solve the most common problems and get your booking back on track.

1. The Register Button Doesn’t Work

  • Refresh the page: Sometimes a temporary internet hiccup can stop the button from loading correctly. Click the refresh button on the web app or if it’s still acting up, refresh the entire browser.

  • Try a different browser or device: Safari, Chrome, and Firefox generally work well. If one isn’t responding, switch to another.

  • Disable pop-up blockers: Some camps use an external registration site that opens in a new tab. Make sure your browser allows pop-ups.

If the problem continues, scroll to the bottom of the camp listing and use the Contact Camp link or send us a quick message via the Help Center.

2. Payment Won’t Go Through

  • Check your card info: A mistyped number or expired card is the most common cause.

  • Verify billing address: Some payment processors reject transactions if the billing ZIP code doesn’t match your card.

  • Try another card or digital wallet: If one method fails, a different card or Apple/Google Pay can work.

  • Avoid public Wi-Fi: Unstable networks can interrupt the payment process.

If a payment is declined but you see a pending charge, it’s usually temporary and drops off within a few days.

3. You’re Sent to an External Site and It Errors Out

Some camps use their own secure checkout. If their site shows an error:

  • Copy the camp name and session details.

  • Look for the camp’s direct contact information on the listing (we require every camp to post support details).

  • Reach out to the camp — they can often complete your registration manually or fix the issue quickly.

4. Confirmation Email Didn’t Arrive

  • Check your spam or promotions folder: Confirmation emails sometimes land there.

  • Log in to your CampSorted account: If you booked directly through CampSorted, the registration should appear under My Bookings even if the email didn’t show up.

  • Contact support: If you don’t see it anywhere, use our Help Center to request a re-send.

5. Still Stuck? We’re Here to Help

If none of the above solves your issue, click Help or Contact Us in the top navigation. Provide:

  • Your child’s name

  • The camp and session you were trying to book

  • A quick description of the error (screenshots help)

Our team will review and either fix the issue or connect you directly with the camp.
